5.3.1 Brief System DescriptionPhilwong FIS product was developed to mainly handle the affairs of social insurance and medical insurance and aimed to reduce the insurance business management complexity. FIS software completely meets the national medical insurance policies and the criterion of computer information management system construction of China which reflects the advanced management ideas, reasonable business flow etc. FIS supports to handle five categories of insurances, i.e., endowment insurance, medical insurance, hurt-in-work insurance, birth delivery insurance and unemployment insurance and so it is called five-in-one insurance software solution. FIS consists of four main functional parts, i.e., public information management, kernel business management, sending message management, data exchange management and the four parts form the entire business platform. This product supports user to customize interface conveniently when required, share the basic data through the five kinds of insurances business and running on the same platform with unified interface, data format.
(3) Information releases management 5.3.2 Brief Function Description(1) Public Information Management Public information means the data which has few opportunities to be modified and is shared through the related individual modules. The purpose is to unify the public information input, maintaining, updating, and adding, deleting operation with same strategies. Regarding the individual sub systems, they can only read the public information other than modify them and thus this will guarantee the consistency property for the public data. (2) Kernel Business Management It is the key module of FIS product that was designed to handle all the businesses including fund collecting, audit, allocation, payment and deal audit etc. The scope of its application is classified into five parts as endowment insurance, medical insurance, hurt-in-work insurance, birth delivery insurance and unemployment insurance. (3)Message Management Policy holder can enquire the required information via touchable screen, Internet and by telephone. The module will store the related information and share them to sub-systems accordingly for user inquiry their contracts’ status. (4) Data Exchange Management This part was implemented with message middle-ware components to carry out system data exchange. 5.3.3 Running Environment
Server: PC server or small station, minimum memory no less than 512M, hard disk size no less than 40G. The proper server can be configured as dual-server system. Work station: minimum memory no less than 64M, hard disk size no less than 1G. CPU is required above Pentium 3.
Server: support all popular commercial OS; support database, e.g., Oracle, DB2, Sybase ASE and MS SQLSERVER. Work station: support all popular OS; install related software packages at client end. 5.3.4 Typical Users
